Mike Jones
Mike has been developing Flash based solution almost 12 years. Starting with Futurewave Splash in 1996 (before Macromedia aquired it and re-named it Flash), Mike has produced rich interactive content for some of the biggest, and smallest organizations on the planet. Mike now spends his time helping organizations get thier internal teams up to speed with Flex and AIR. In his spare time he writes books and lectures on the process and development of Rich Internet Applications.

Component development in Flex is viewed by some as a black art. In this session Mike will be taking a custom component and deconstructing it to provide a better understanding of how the component framework operates within Flex.
